Document Intelligence /

A little clarity.
Before you scan.

Document support, processing, privacy and access.

Do I need Azure?

No. This version connects to the self-hosted FirstMyWeb OCR server. The engine must be installed on a suitable server and connected before image scanning works.

What does the scanner read?

It reads supported TD3 passport MRZ lines: names, passport number, nationality, birth date, sex, expiry and issuing country. Issue date and birthplace require manual entry.

Which files are supported?

A clear JPG, PNG or exactly one PDF page, up to 8 MB. Both 44-character MRZ lines must be visible. Other MRZ formats, extended passport numbers and poor-quality scans need manual handling.

Is this a document-authenticity check?

No. Check digits help detect some reading errors. They do not prove a passport is genuine. Review every field against the source document.

Where is my document processed?

Uploads pass through this WordPress site to the configured FirstMyWeb OCR server. The supplied engine does not call third-party OCR APIs. Confirm the operator’s hosting region and privacy practices before uploading.

Are passport images stored?

The supplied scanner does not add passport images to Media Library or save extracted records in the WordPress database. The OCR service removes its per-request temporary files after processing. Hosting, backups, logs and other plugins need separate retention configuration.

Why do I need to sign in?

Scanning is currently available to authorized accounts. Signing in does not automatically grant scanner permission. Contact our team to discuss access.

Can it fill any WordPress form?

It can fill compatible inputs on the same page after field mapping. Date formats, country options, repeated passengers and individual form builders require testing.

Can I use it before the OCR server is connected?

The fictional sample and manual MRZ reader work without the image OCR server. Photo and PDF extraction require the deployed server.

Is Accounting available now?

FirstMyWeb Accounting is coming soon. Features, pricing and launch availability have not been announced.
